Microsoft has released a one-time convenience roll-up for Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1 (SP1). Robert Smith here to let you know about a new convenience rollup for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

To install the update, you must meet the prerequisites listed in the KB article and in the Rollup Update above. The update is available via WSUS or in the Microsoft Update Catalog. Security updates to Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Kernel, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Cloud Infrastructure, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows File Server and Clustering, Windows Hybrid Storage Services, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine. The update addresses the following issues. Update KB4561669 (Security-only update) is available for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 with ESU license. KB4561669 (Security Only) for Windows 7/Windows Server 2008 R2 There you will also find information that SSU KB4562030 has to be installed afterwards. For details on requirements and known issues (installation fails without ESU), see the KB article. The package is also available through the Microsoft Update Catalog and is distributed via WSUS. This update is automatically downloaded and installed by Windows Update.
